Virginia Green's Estate Lawn Care Program
Virginia Green's Estate Program is a complete program for cool season lawns such as fescue and bluegrass. Virginia Green provides fertilization, weed control, grub control, fungus control as well as lime. The Estate Program is designed to maintain turf quality regardless of the weather conditions in Virginia. The only additional requirement is water and mowing.
Virginia Green's Estate Program:
Ten Applications
- Estate Lawn Care One - Late January through March
Our first visit promotes early spring green up and weed control. Application consists of a complete fertilizer, pre-emerge crabgrass control, and broadleaf weed control.
- Estate Lawn Care Two - March through April
The second visit will improve the color as well as density. Application consists of a complete fertilizer, pre-emerge crabgrass control, and broadleaf weed control.
- Estate Lawn Care Three - April through June
This treatment contains slow release fertilizer, pre-emerge and additional weed control. This application maintains color throughout the summer and provides consistent growth of cool season grasses.
- Estate Lawn Care Fungicide Applications (3) - late May through August
These three summer treatments control lawn diseases such as brown patch and dollar spot. They are scheduled every thirty days and keep the lawn healthy all summer. Included in these treatments are additional weed control, nutsedge control, and grub control.
- Estate Lawn Care Four - late June through August
Lime is critical in Virginia to improve soils as well as balance acidity. This application consists of a lime application as well as additional weed control.
- Estate Lawn Care Five - August through September
Early fall fertilization will improve damage from summer stresses. Soil sampling determines the need for additional phosphorus.
- Estate Lawn Care Six - October through November
Fall fertilization continues to thicken the lawn and strengthen root development.
- Estate Lawn Care Seven - November through December
Fertilization and weed control to clean up the lawn before winter. This helps control winter annuals before spring allowing the turf fill in early in the spring.
